2 Tables beside each other like in Notes Address Book - How is it done?

I need to place one table beside the other. The most effective way I have seen is like in the notes address book where they have two tables that are beside each other.

It works really well but I cannot figure out how they did it. If you look in the design at the subform the two tables are placed below each other but when the doc is composed they are positioned neatly next to each other.

how did they do this?

Look farther down on the subform, at the tabbed table. Each tab contains a table that contains the 2 side-by-side tables. The upper part of the subform is for backward compatability for versions that don’t understand tabbed tables.

Thank you.

That’s a big help.
