I’m a 15-year Domino veteran who’s wet behind the ears when it comes to Foundations. So here are two pretty basic questions for anyone who has played with it a little:
Does Foundations allow/support the registration and operation of additional Domino servers in the same Domain, such as a Windows-based server to operate BES or Lotus Notes Traveler?
Is anyone operating this kind of setup with Foundations at present?

HiI think you could access the foundation server via telnet and look for the cert.id. With that it should be possible to register additional servers.

Thanks, Urs. Using telnet to retrieve the cert.id sounds workable. That still leaves me wondering whether adding a second server is permitted in the license agreement, and whether anyone else is operating this way.

Subject: Some documentation on secondary Domino servers with Foundations
The Nitix knowledgebase has a how-to article for installing a second Domino server in a Nitix WILD environment http://kb.nitix.com/4109 . It says this is possible but unsupported with Nitix WILD, and not possible with Nitix Blue. No mention of Foundations, though.
