I have two accounts in my address book to receive mails from 2 different email accounts. Both of them are using the same pop server. And they don’t work.It’s OK when I set up 2 accounts using 2 different pop servers. But it just get stuck when the 2 accounts are using the same pop server.

In the second mail account, instead of using the name of the POP server, put the IP address in. Notes can’t handle having more than 1 of the same name.If you want to have more than this, you need to start messing with the hosts file and put aliases in there for each account.

I’ve changed the server name to its ip. But it doesn’t work. It just says “POP3 Protocal Error Returned”. Curiously! I’m sure the ip address is right cause I get it both from ping and netstat.I also tried the hosts files. I didn’t work either.
