1352 Thru NAT

hello,

I have a domino 6.5 behind a linux nat firewall which has a ip address 192.168.128.5. One interface is natted and port forwarded to the internal IP, meaning if a client tries to connect to port 1352 of the server 203.116.112.2 it will be natted to the port 1352 of 192.168.128.5.

Question is i could telnet to port 1352 from the network but the notes client does not connect to the domino server.

I use a domino web server through the natted firewall. Pls explain.

How do your Notes clients resolve the IP address to the Nat’d Domino server? On one client, try putting a connection document in the Personal Address book to the server, and specify its 203.116.112.2 IP.
